Belvedere Tower, Naked City Series...

Naked City, The Belvedere Tower plagued Kay [Kay Frances Gibbs], her brother and sister as children.  They played with toy pistols that looked like the weapons in this film, thanks to Kay Francis aka Katherine Gibbs, the actress.

The three of them played Cops and Robbers, Cowboys and Indians and War.  Kay shot her Uncle’s .38 when she was a child.  Kay found this film several years ago but never viewed it.  In 1985 Kay drove a 1965 Plymouth Belvedere [this gave her the idea that this film was the problem] and her parents owned a 1959 Dodge they called The Batmobile; in 1994 Kay almost jumped off a parking deck wall and in 1990 she leapt over a deck railing at the home where she had been living while being chased by two Police Officers, both pulling their weapons on her.  Kay finally viewed this film and discovered these things to definitely be related to her problems at that time. 

 

 

…Kay’s father sometimes said, while intoxicated, “I am the king and this is my castle”.  Clearly drugs and alcohol contribute to these problems.

…”he’s going to jump off”.  “No he’s just looking”…

 



Just recently Kay found the location of this structure in Portsmouth, Ohio.  While the scene at Sunrise Ave might have been the Civil War, it was recreated and modernized to still create a problem.
